I'm André Boudreau, a resident of Antigonish. Out of my own curiosity, I started compiling data about the Antigonish Town and County budgets. I created this website hoping to present that data, showing how public money is used in a clear, unbiased and visually appealing way. With the upcoming election, I decided that it might be useful to add that data here as well.

The website is fully funded by me, and I have not received any donations, grants, or other monetary compensation for the research and running of this site.

The information is gathered from various sources. For budget data the information is gathered from the town and county websites as well as the County Connect booklet that's sent out each year. For the election, information is gathered from the town and county websites, the chamber of commerce, 989 XFM, as well as directly from the candidates.

I'm looking to increase voters' knowledge of the 2024 election. I've added two pages: one that provides the election information available on the town and county websites, and the other that lists all the candidates. The candidates page will have a Q&A section at the bottom, giving voters a better understanding of the candidates' views and plans, making it easier to stay informed as the election approaches.
